Salary: £24,310 per annum plus £3,285.00 Contractual Overtime, £2,437 Shift Allowance & £1,563 Responsibility Allowance.
Contract: 37 plus 5 COT = 42 hours, 1 FTE, Permanent.
Role Description
Newcastle College is looking for a candidate with knowledge and skills to work in a diverse environment in the Education sector. You will need to demonstrate knowledge and professional aptitude within the security sector, with excellent customer-focused skills while leading a team of security officers. You should be conversant with security operations, including CCTV, Intruder Alarms, Fire Alarms and Access controls.
The successful candidate will work a 12-hour shift pattern that includes both day and night shifts on a four-on, four-off basis, 52 weeks per year. A full driving licence is required as part of the role due to patrolling satellite sites.

- Operate and monitor CCTV, intruder alarms, fire alarms and access control systems.
- Coordinate responses to incidents and communicate effectively with staff and learners.
