Role Description
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join Carlisle College as a Schools Liaison and Transition Coordinator, working within the busy and vibrant Marketing and Student Recruitment Team.
As a Schools Liaison and Transition Coordinator you will be responsible for the delivery of engaging and meaningful advice and guidance to young people, offered externally through schools and careers organisations. Working collaboratively with colleagues across the college, as well as external partners, you will create and deliver engaging and inspirational activities and student experiences that support student recruitment and progression to further study. In addition, you will support the Head of Marketing and Student Recruitment in cultivating positive relationships with local schools and associated organisations, and championing Carlisle College as a great place to study, at internal and regional events.
This is a fast-paced and sociable role, and the successful candidate will be outgoing, creative, and have a passion for working with and inspiring young people. You will have a clear understanding of the Carlisle College curriculum and be confident in networking, presenting, and working with people of all ages, both one-to-one and in larger groups. Importantly, you\’ll be a team player but be self-motivated and confident when working alone.
This post will require flexibility, with frequent travel across the region and working outside of normal working hours.
Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging and meaningful advice and guidance to young people externally through schools and careers organisations.
- Collaborate with colleagues across the college and external partners to create and deliver inspiring activities and student experiences that support recruitment and progression.
- Support the Head of Marketing and Student Recruitment in cultivating positive relationships with local schools and organisations and promote Carlisle College at internal and regional events.
- Engage with various audiences, network effectively, and present to groups of any size, both in person and virtually.
- Travel regionally as required and work outside normal hours as needed.
