An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our Central Information Services Team (CIS) at Newcastle College. The Central Information Service provides a central administrative and reception function for all Newcastle College learners. This cross-college service aims to deliver excellence in its operations, to provide an efficient and standardised front facing operation to the buildings and the learners it supports.

We are seeking to appoint a Central Information Services Administrator, full-time (37 hrs. per week) to work at our Rye Hill Campus.

Summary of the main purpose of the role:

  • To provide an efficient and effective administrative support service to internal and external customers as part of the cross-college administration team, including reception duties.
  • To ensure that all College systems and processes are proactively and effectively implemented within the role.
  • To deliver exceptional customer service and to support a high-quality service delivery, whilst maintaining compliance within a very busy environment.
  • An understanding of educational systems and processes would be beneficial.
