We’re seeking a motivated and learner-focused Lecturer to join our college team. You’ll teach across a range of programmes - delivering knowledge, building skills, and creating inclusive learning experiences. This is a meaningful opportunity to make a lasting impact.

What we’re looking for:

  • A relevant subject qualification (e.g. degree or equivalent).
  • A recognised teaching qualification.
  • Level 2 English and Maths (e.g. GCSE grade C/4 or equivalent).
  • The ability to plan and deliver effective, inclusive teaching for diverse learners.
  • Knowledge of subject-specific pedagogy and current teaching practices in further or higher education.
  • Clear communication and strong organisational skills.
  • Confidence using digital tools to support learning.
  • A commitment to safeguarding, equality, and ongoing professional development.

We are seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Aviation Engineering Lecturer to join our team and deliver high-quality, inclusive teaching and learning within our Further Education (FE) provision. Previous experience of teaching Engineering Principles and Gas Turbine Engines would be highly desirable. In this role, you will teach and support learners across a range of aviation and engineering programmes, covering all age profiles (16-18 and 19+) and delivery types including study programmes, adult learning, functional skills, apprenticeships, and higher education (HE). You will be responsible for ensuring that all learners receive an excellent educational experience, supporting their academic progress, personal development, and welfare. You will assess learner progress, provide constructive feedback, and help learners to achieve their goals and progress into further study or employment. As part of your role, you will actively contribute to course teams to plan, organise, and deliver engaging programmes of study, ensuring compliance with awarding body and college requirements. You will also undertake associated administrative and quality assurance responsibilities to support effective course delivery.
