Subject-Specific Details - Electrical Installation - Lecturer:
This role sits within a well-established Construction department delivering Electrical Installation qualifications to learners at Level 2 - Level 3. Key features include:
- Delivery and assessment of high-quality Electrical Installation programmes, including practical and theory elements such as wiring systems, inspection and testing, fault finding, and health and safety.
- Responsibility for programme leadership duties, including tutorial support, tracking learner progress and contributing to curriculum planning and administration.
- Access to industry standard electrical workshops equipped with up-to-date tools, boards and installation rigs aligned to current regulation and practices.
- Use of awarding body platforms such as City & Guilds assessments standardisation, and monitoring learner achievement.
- Flexible delivery to meet learner and employer needs, which may include evening or weekend teaching.
We are seeking candidates with a strong background in Electrical Installation, qualified to Level 3 and with experience of vocational expertise within the Construction sector. Candidates should demonstrate the ability to manage their workload, meet deadlines and communicate effectively, alongside strong IT skills and a commitment to contributing to a motivated and successful team environment.
