We're seeking a motivated and learner-focused Lecturer to join our college team. You'll teach across a range of programmes - delivering knowledge, building skills, and creating inclusive learning experiences. This is a meaningful opportunity to make a lasting impact.
What you’ll do:
- Plan and deliver learning
- Design and deliver inclusive, high quality lessons
- Create engaging learning materials tailored to diverse learner needs

- Keep course content current and aligned with industry standards

What we’re looking for:
- A relevant subject qualification (e.g. degree in Business, Management, Economics or related field)
- A recognised teaching qualification
- Level 2 English and Maths (e.g. GCSE grade C/4 or equivalent)
- The ability to plan and deliver effective, inclusive teaching for diverse learners
- Knowledge of subject-specific pedagogy and current teaching practices in further or higher education
- Clear communication and strong organisational skills
- Confidence using digital tools to support learning
- A commitment to safeguarding, equality, and ongoing professional development
Subject‑Specific:
- This post requires a strong background in teaching BTEC specifications (level 1 – 3) to 16-19-year-olds
- Successful applicants would have recent experience in business, finance, marketing or enterprise or experience teaching in FE or secondary
- Strong understanding of current business practices and industry trends with excellent communication and organisational skills
- Successful applicant will be able to demonstrate strong professional links with employers in the Business industries and should have the ability and motivation to develop links between employers and course delivery
