Library Lead
ROLE DESCRIPTION
Newcastle College is seeking a passionate and proactive Library Lead to join our Central Support Service team. In this pivotal role, you will help shape and deliver library services that enhance the student experience and support offer.
As Library Lead, you will take ownership of key areas such as print and e‑resources, library systems, and student experience and customer service, ensuring they are accessible, relevant, and integrated across our platforms. You'll collaborate with curriculum and support colleagues to develop innovative training, inductions, and workshops that empower students and staff to make the most of our library services and resources.
In addition, you will lead initiatives to promote the library through creative campaigns and communications, monitor usage and satisfaction, and contribute to the operational management of library functions such as systems and the acquisition strategy. Your work will directly enhance learning and foster inclusivity.
This role is term time only and 37 hours per week. Previous applicants need not apply.
