Lecturer – Early Years and Care at NCG

Role description: To meet our ambition of delivering an exciting and outstanding educational experience, we need an enthusiastic and inspiring teacher in Early Years. This post provides an excellent opportunity for a teacher with enthusiasm and drive who is committed to lively, student-centered teaching. The post will be predominantly to teach Early Years across a wide range of levels from Level 1 to Level 3. The ability to deliver on Health and Social Care courses up to Level 3 would be an advantage. We welcome applications from experienced and newly qualified teachers who hold a PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification and a relevant degree or from candidates who are vocationally qualified and prepared to complete a teaching qualification.

Role responsibilities

The successful candidate will:

  • Teach Early Years across levels from Level 1 to Level 3, with the flexibility to cover related Health and Social Care content up to Level 3 where applicable.
  • Be enthusiastic, independent, proactive and demonstrate excellent organisational and interpersonal skills.
  • Communicate effectively with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification and a relevant degree, or
  • Vocationally qualified with willingness to complete a teaching qualification.
