Kidderminster College is a thriving college in the heart of the West Midlands. We are part of Newcastle College Group (NCG), one of the largest education and training providers in the country.
The ethos of IGNITE AMTD (Acting, Musical Theatre, Technical Theatre, and Dance) at Kidderminster College is rooted in creativity, collaboration, and inclusivity. This vibrant program encourages students to explore their artistic potential, while fostering a supportive community.
To meet our ambition of delivering an exciting and outstanding educational experience, we are looking to appoint an inspiring lecturer-practitioner with a proven record of high success, industry experience and a strong desire to encourage learners to reach their full potential at L4 and L6. This post provides an excellent opportunity for an individual with enthusiasm and drive who is committed to industry-focused, student-centred teaching who is familiar with the HND in dance as well as being able to deliver our own L6 Top Up degree qualification.
The ideal candidate would have a subject specific BA and/or industry experience as well as a teaching qualification. They will need to have a flexible approach, be independent and proactive, have excellent organisational and interpersonal skills with strong communication skills and be able to negotiate with a diverse range of stakeholders, both internal and external to the organisation.
