Responsibilities
- Design and deliver inclusive, high-quality lessons.
- Create engaging learning materials tailored to diverse learner needs.
- Provide clear, constructive feedback to support learner progress.

- Maintain accurate records of learner progress and engagement.
- Keep course content current and aligned with industry standards.

What you’ll need / What we’re looking for
- A relevant subject qualification (e.g. degree or equivalent).
- A recognised teaching qualification.
- Level 2 English and Maths (e.g. GCSE grade C/4 or equivalent).
- The ability to plan and deliver effective, inclusive teaching for diverse learners.
- Knowledge of subject-specific pedagogy and current teaching practices in further or higher education.
- Clear communication and strong organisational skills.
- Confidence using digital tools to support learning.
- A commitment to safeguarding, equality, and ongoing professional development.
Role Specific Information
As a Civil Engineering Lecturer you will deliver high-quality teaching, learning, and assessment to students studying civil engineering programmes ranging from T Level (Level 3) through to HNC (Level 4). The postholder will play a key role in preparing learners for progression into higher education or employment within the civil engineering and construction sectors.
