We are looking to appoint additional Exams Invigilators to join our Exams team at Carlisle College to conduct invigilation of various exams. This is an hourly paid appointment to support with exams throughout the year, but mainly between October and June. A full training and induction will be given to all successful candidates.
Your main responsibilities as the Exams Invigilator will include:
- Ensuring exam rooms are correctly set up
- Communicating and managing groups of learners
- Ensuring exams are carried out according to the rules and regulations
- Preventing potential malpractice
- Taking responsibility for the security of exam material before, during and after each exam
- Documenting and reporting any incidents
- Following emergency procedures
- Giving assistance to learners with access arrangements
