Newcastle College is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Support Coordinator to join a team that supports the achievements of students with additional learning needs and disabilities. In this vital role, you will be at the heart of student success and will:

  • Lead and manage a team of support colleagues to enable inclusive learning
  • Support inclusive learning
  • Work closely with curriculum teams
  • Contribute to the development of service processes including teaching, learning and assessment

Requirements

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A commitment to inclusive education
  • Level 2 English & Maths (or equivalent)
  • Evidence and experience of leadership and management
  • Educated to degree level or significant, relevant industry experience
  • Flexibility to work evenings and support off-site provision
