We are seeking a Student Services Advisor to join the Student Services Admissions team on a full‑time, permanent basis. The role is 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
The role involves delivering high‑quality customer service by providing impartial information, advice and guidance to prospective and current customers in person at the Student Services Visitor Centre and Reception, as well as by telephone and email. Experience of providing information and guidance by phone and email is therefore essential.
As part of the Student Services Advisor team, the post holder will also manage the administration of the College's centralised FE course applications and enquiry systems. This requires a methodical approach, accurate data entry, strong attention to detail, and experience of customer records or CRM systems.
The role can be fast‑paced, target‑driven and demanding, so the successful candidate will need strong interpersonal, IT and organisational skills, along with the ability to work under pressure and communicate effectively with colleagues and customers. A positive, proactive approach and the ability to work independently are essential. Flexibility is also important, as some evening and weekend work will be required to support recruitment events at the main campus and satellite centres.
