Responsibilities include operating as a security officer and covering Security Shift Leader absences. Act as the responsible person for a nominated team of security officers, engaging staff, making decisions and communicating effectively. Work a 4 on 4 off rotational shift system: four 12‑hour days (07.00 am‑19.00 pm) and four 12‑hour nights (19.00 pm‑07.00 am), then four days off. Complete any required training, including Security Industry Authority training, CCTV, first aid and other training as determined by Security/Estates Management.
Qualifications include a valid SIA Door Supervisor / CCTV licence and first aid qualification advantageous. Experience within the security industry, particularly in the education sector, is desired. A full driving licence is preferred or willingness to obtain one.
