Overview
Newcastle College is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Learning Mentor to join a passionate team who are dedicated to supporting students in overcoming barriers to learning.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with learners, internal colleagues, parents/carers, and external providers to identify learners who require assistance.
- Provide personalised support, motivation and guidance to help students achieve their full potential, whether one‑on‑one or in small groups.
- Create an inclusive and empowering learning environment.
Qualifications
- Level 2 English and Maths or equivalent.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to inclusive education and the ability to work flexibly, including evening work and support at the off‑site provision.
