A new opportunity has arisen for a well-organised and self-motivated MIS Exams Officer to join our busy Learner Data Services Exams Team. The successful post holder will be required to be a good team-player, with good communication skills and have experience of inputting large volumes of data efficiently and accurately.
Having worked in a similar role you will already have experience of managing your workload effectively and have good customer focus skills with the ability to use initiative and problem solve. You will ideally have experience of working within a similar role and be a self-starter with a clear focus to produce high quality work. You must also be reliable and able to work on your own initiative and manage a multi-task workload. You will need to ensure you build effective relationships with our campus and curriculum managers.
To be considered for this role you must have knowledge and experience of databases, IT packages, particularly Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel are essential. Previous experience of working in an educational setting would be desirable, along with an understanding of Exams Administration and JCQ Compliance.
This is a full time (1.0FTE) fixed term post working 37 hours per week with occasional early starts and late finishes. However, we are open to hybrid working and remote work for the right candidate, which can be discussed at interview.
The role will encompass the end-to-end learner journey including course set up, student registration and achievement. The post holder will be expected to lead the Accreditation team and develop systems and processes to ensure the smooth running of the Accreditation service, whilst ensuring operational processes are followed efficiently and effectively to support achievement and mitigate business risk.
