West Lancashire College is a medium sized further education college based in Skelmersdale. We are seeking an experienced and dedicated person to provide support in classes to learners with Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs) and Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). The aim of the position is to enable our 16-18 and adult learners to make excellent progress and maximise their potential to achieve and move positively forward with their lives, independence and employment.
There are a variety of contracted hours available and the post is term time only - salary £24,310 pro rata, depending upon number of hours. This is fixed term until July 2026.
The successful applicant will have grade 4 or above in GCSE math and English (or equivalent) and qualifications/experience of supporting learners in education, the health care sector or other relevant field.
