Newcastle College requires a dedicated, enthusiastic and qualified person to take on the role of Lecturer in Business (T Levels). The main responsibilities of this role include the delivery and assessment of a high-quality level 3 learning programme, as well as undertaking a range of programme leadership, tutorial and programme administration duties.
This post requires a strong background in Business, or related field and the candidate must have proven track record of professional and vocational expertise, ideally in business management, finance, marketing, customer relations and business administration. The candidate must ideally be qualified to honours degree level (Level 6) or qualified to the industry-recognised standard in a relevant field, hold a post-16 teaching qualification and English and maths qualifications at level 2, or be willing to achieve these within an agreed timeframe.
It is desirable that the candidate has relevant experience of teaching T-Levels, effective programme leadership and has a proven track record of successful teaching and assessment practice. An ability to self-manage workload, meet deadlines alongside strong oral and written communication skills and good IT skills are also essential.
