About The Role

We’re excited to be looking for an Examiner to join us for the T Level in the Health on a flexible worker contract.

Remote

Responsibilities

  • Mark external assessments as required and submit results using our systems within set timescales.
  • Follow and maintain the standard set by the Chief Examiner, applying the mark scheme consistently and accurately.
  • Report suspected malpractice or safeguarding concerns to the Assessment Delivery team.
  • Attend examiner standardisation and training events, and other meetings as required – standardisation events will be scheduled for weekdays between 9:00 am and 5:00 pm.
  • Maintain the confidentiality of NCFE assessment materials, learner evidence and learner details, and report any breaches to the Assessment Delivery team.

Qualifications

  • A professional qualification (at Level 4 or above) in the subject area advertised.
  • Current/recent teaching experience in the sector/subject at Level 3 or higher, or at least 3 years employment in the health sector.
  • An understanding of effective quality assurance mechanisms.
  • The ability to work consistently within tight deadlines.
