About the role

We’re seeking an experienced Moderator to join our External Quality Assurance team on a fixed term contract for the T Level Technical Qualification in Education and Early Years (Level 3) (delivered by NCFE). This role will cover Cambridgeshire and surrounding areas including East Anglia. You'll work as part of our External Quality Assurance team, who are responsible for ensuring that internal assessments are delivered in line with our policies and reliable results are issued upholding high standards of compliance and regulatory requirements.

How you’ll make an impact:

  • Visit providers to carry out observations on learners, completing reports within specific Service Level Agreements (SLA) to a high standard, ensuring all relevant parties are kept informed of the outcomes.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service to all our stakeholders, internally and externally, reflecting on feedback received through a range of sources to drive improvement in your own work practices and processes as well as the wider Moderation team.
  • Support, implement and embed change to drive the business and wider Moderation team forward, with a clear focus on collaboration, problem solving and reflection.
  • Moderate centre marking and conduct and document moderation, in line with quality assurance guidelines and within the required timescale.
  • Identify any development needs, risks and areas of non-compliance and develop action planning specific to the centre with clear timeframes and ownership linked to each area.

We’d love to hear from you if you offer the following:

  • Hold relevant subject expertise in the sector area qualified to at least level 3.
  • Evidence of at least 3 years working in an educational environment delivering Education and Early Years qualifications.
  • Maintained CPD record demonstrating occupational competency and knowledge for Early Years and Assisting Teaching occupational specialisms.
  • Hold Qualifications and experience in assessment and internal quality assurance.
  • Excellent report writing skills.
  • Hold a full driving licence.
