NCF Living is a fast-growing furniture retailer with 24 stores across the UK. We are looking for a commercially focused Visual Merchandiser to play a key role in elevating our in-store experience, improving visual standards, and driving sales across the estate. This is a hands-on, high-impact role where you will have the opportunity to shape how our stores look and feel nationwide, working closely with the Buying team and Head of Retail to bring our product strategy to life through engaging displays and strong in-store presentation.
Responsibilities
- Implement visual merchandising standards across all stores
- Improve store presentation, layout, and overall in-store standards
- Create engaging, on-brand displays and in-store point of sale
- Work closely with the Buying team and Head of Retail to align displays with product strategy
- Conduct regular store visits to maintain and improve standards
- Support new store openings and refits
- Analyse store performance and make improvements to drive sales
- Provide guidance and support to store teams
- Ensure digital floor plans are accurate and always kept up to date. These should be a true reflection of showroom layout.
Requirements
- Experience in visual merchandising within a retail environment
- Ideally from furniture, homeware, or similar
- Strong commercial awareness and understanding of store layout and customer flow
- Creative with a strong eye for details
- Proficiency in design tools (e.g. SketchUp, AutoCAD, or similar) is desirable
- Organised and able to manage multiple stores/projects
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel
