NCC is seeking a Building Services Manager (Hard Services) to join their team in Bristol. The role will initially focus on contributing to the design and construction of their brand-new facility and then lead a multidisciplinary team of engineers in delivering safe and efficient facilities management hard services.

The successful candidate will have experience in a similar role, with a background in fields such as defence, engineering, R&D, or manufacturing industries. They will be required to undergo security clearance and have experience working in highly digital environments using Building Management Systems.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Undertaking all necessary activity to ensure the building meets statutory and regulatory requirements
  • Managing hard services operations, including mechanical, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and building fabric maintenance
  • Managing a Planned Preventative Maintenance program for the plant and general building
  • Acting as technical lead of the building management system
  • Managing building users' expectations and aiming for high levels of customer satisfaction
