As Strategic Advisory Director, you will play a senior, client-facing role in originating, shaping and winning high-value cyber opportunities for NCC Group. Working with senior client stakeholders and prospects, you will translate NCC Group’s technical depth, global cyber expertise and market insight into compelling propositions that support strategic growth, strengthen executive engagement and position NCC Group as a long-term cyber resilience partner. This role combines strategic cyber advisory credibility with complex pursuit and commercial leadership. You will partner across sales, delivery, marketing, solution engineering, legal, finance, propositions, partnerships and senior leadership to develop account strategies, shape transformational deals, qualify opportunities and lead cross-functional teams through high-value pursuits. You will bring a strong understanding of cyber risk, regulatory scrutiny, AI adoption, identity modernisation, third-party exposure, operational resilience and assurance requirements.

We are looking for a number of Strategic Advisory Directors, each to support an assigned NCC Group vertical:

Key Responsibilities

  • Originate, shape and execute large, strategic cyber opportunities that support NCC Group’s growth ambitions, improve win rate and increase pull-through across multiple capabilities.
  • Build trusted senior relationships with client stakeholders, including CISOs, CIOs, CTOs, CROs, audit, risk, compliance, legal, privacy and board-level audiences.
  • Take a consulting-led approach to identify long-term, high-value opportunities by connecting client business priorities, regulatory pressures and cyber risk to NCC Group’s propositions and capabilities.
  • Lead cross-functional pursuit teams, bringing together expertise from across NCC Group and its partner ecosystem to shape commercially robust and client-relevant solutions.
  • Apply disciplined opportunity qualification and governance, prioritising investment in deals with the strongest strategic fit and propensity to win.
  • Advise clients across priority areas including technical assurance, cyber governance, regulatory readiness, digital identity, cloud security, application and product security, third-party risk, operational resilience, AI governance, incident readiness, continuous assurance and proactive security.

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise

  • Significant senior-level experience across cybersecurity, cyber advisory, consulting, cyber services, technology, risk, compliance, security leadership or complex enterprise sales.
  • A strong track record of originating, shaping or closing strategic opportunities, ideally including large or transformational deals with multiple stakeholders and decision-makers.
  • Strong understanding of cyber risk, regulatory expectations, audit cycles, remediation programmes, operational resilience, third-party risk, fraud exposure, data protection, AI risk and board-level reporting.
  • Ability to engage credibly with senior business, technology, risk and security stakeholders, translating complex technical capability into clear commercial, regulatory and operational outcomes.
  • A strong senior customer network and the ability to convert trusted relationships into qualified pipeline, executive introductions, revenue growth and new-logo opportunities.
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity services and propositions, including technical assurance, governance and compliance, identity, cloud security, incident readiness, red teaming, continuous testing, managed detection and response, AI security and third-party risk.
  • Strong commercial acumen, an entrepreneurial mindset, a collaborative, pragmatic and proactive style, with the ability to influence across Sales, Delivery, Marketing, Product, Solution Architecture, Partners and senior leadership.
