Location: Manchester - Hybrid

Role Purpose: The Payroll Advisor is responsible for accurately processing NCC Group’s UK monthly payrolls, payroll adjustments, and manual checks for approximately 1100 employees using Workday. The role ensures legislative compliance, supports payroll audits, and provides specialist guidance to employees and internal teams.

Summary:

  • Process payroll for approximately 1,100 employees in the UK using Workday software.
  • Ensure accurate and timely processing of all payroll transactions, including new hires, terminations, and variable payments.
  • Reconcile payroll data to ensure accuracy and compliance with UK regulations.
  • Address employee inquiries regarding payroll matters in a timely and professional manner.
  • Collaborate with HR and Finance teams to ensure payroll data is accurate and up to date.
  • Issuing P45s.
  • Work with the payroll team to ensure correct processing of pension contributions, auto-enrolment, and monthly submissions.

What we are looking for in you:

  • At least 3 years of experience in payroll processing, preferably with Workday.
  • Strong knowledge of UK payroll laws and regulations.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to interact with employees at all levels.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritise tasks effectively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

Desirable:

  • Previous experience working in a corporate finance or payroll department.
  • CIPP certified.
