We are looking for an experienced and strategic Business Development Manager to drive sales and revenue growth within our Technology, Media & Telecoms vertical. The ideal candidate will bring experience managing complex opportunities and working with senior stakeholders, while leading strategic business development initiatives. The TMT vertical at NCC is a thriving, well-established business with over 650 clients including Tier 1 Telcos, Media and Technology organisations who trust us with Consulting & Implementation, Digital Forensic & Incident Response, Global Managed Services and Technical Assurance Services. You will be working with exciting new technologies such as AI Security and the top cybersecurity experts who are well-regarded within the industry.
Key Responsibilities- Identify and develop high-value new business opportunities in target markets
- Build and nurture relationships with key stakeholders, decision-makers, and clients, ensuring a deep understanding of their business needs and priorities
- Create and implement strategic plans to secure complex, high-value opportunities aligned with business goals
- Manage the full deal lifecycle - from prospecting through to closure and delivery - ensuring client satisfaction and alignment with expectations
- Partner with Sales Development Representatives to shape outreach plans and support their growth
- Collaborate closely with senior leaders and cross-functional teams to influence business strategy and support company growth
- Present tailored proposals and presentations to C-suite and senior stakeholders
- Stay informed on industry developments, market trends and regulatory shifts to identify emerging opportunities
- Track performance metrics and contribute insights to continuously improve approach and outcomes
- Demonstrable experience in business development or senior sales roles, ideally within the Cybersecurity industry
- Strong project management and relationship-building skills, with the ability to close complex deals
- Confident communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, especially when engaging senior stakeholders
- Consultative selling skills, able to execute tactically and strategically
- A consistent track record of securing business and building long-term partnerships
- Self-starter with an appetite for developing new business
- Proficiency with CRM platforms and business development tools
- Familiarity with sales methodologies e.g. SPIN, MEDPICC
