Overview
Electrical Shift Engineer / Technician required – permanent opportunity with great prospects at a large heavy process engineering manufacturing site in north Birmingham. 12 hour shifts, annual hours rota, overtime, and a comprehensive benefits package. 38.75 hours per week across a 12 hour shift rota, days and nights.
Responsibilities
- Work as part of a maintenance team to address electrical breakdowns and preventative maintenance across the site.
- Apply a hands-on approach to electrical maintenance in a heavy industry environment.
- Operate within a flexible, multi-skilled maintenance unit to ensure reliability of electrical systems.
Electrical Maintenance Engineer Requirements
- Minimum HNC Electrical or equivalent
- Substantial electrical experience gained from heavy industry
- Electrical/Electronic knowledge
- PLC fault finding
- Pressure/flow/level control loops
- Instrumentation
- Hydraulics
- Mechanical skills including motor changes, pump changes, drive belts
