Summary
We are currently seeking a Transport Co‑ordinator.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the timely delivery of finished products and liaising with the Sales Team regarding current stock and progress of orders.
- Main responsibilities
- Organise transport of finished goods
- Organise servicing and maintenance of company vehicles
- Negotiate pricing and lead times with transport companies
- Book and arrange deliveries
- Monitor build status of existing orders and keep Sales Team and customers updated on estimated delivery times
- Completing all paperwork for deliveries and invoices
- Hours
- Monday to Thursday 8am – 5pm
- Friday 8am – 2pm
- 40 Hours
Qualifications
- At least 2 years’ experience in a similar role
- High level of attention to details
- Excellent problem solving skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Preference will be given to candidates with prior experience of transportation of agricultural or construction machinery
