A well-established Insurance Broker based in Cholmondeley is looking to recruit an Account Handler. This is an excellent opportunity for an organised and customer-focused insurance professional to join a growing team, providing exceptional client service while supporting Account Executives with the day-to-day management of commercial insurance policies.

The successful candidate will become a key point of contact for clients, handling policy renewals, quotations, and administrative support while ensuring all work is completed accurately and in line with FCA regulations.

Account Handler Responsibilities:
  • Acting as the first point of contact for incoming client enquiries via telephone and email
  • Providing professional support and guidance on a range of insurance-related queries
  • Preparing quotations, renewals, and policy documentation using the Acturis system
  • Managing policy renewals from initial contact through to completion
  • Updating and maintaining client records, tasks, and documentation within Acturis
  • Gathering relevant client information to ensure policies provide appropriate levels of cover
  • Processing policy amendments, renewals, and associated documentation accurately
  • Ensuring all work is completed in line with FCA regulations and internal compliance procedures
  • Delivering exceptional customer service while building long-term client relationships
  • Providing administrative support to Account Executives and the wider broking team
  • Maintaining accurate records of all client correspondence, documentation, and telephone conversations
  • Supporting the wider team with general office and administration duties when required
Account Handler Experience Required:
  • Essential: Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workload effectively
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work within a regulated environment
  • Confident using Microsoft Office packages
  • Desirable: Previous experience using Acturis
  • Knowledge of commercial insurance products
  • Understanding of FCA compliance requirements
  • Experience supporting Account Executives or Insurance Brokers
