Role Overview:
The Lead Engineering Operations Manager will provide strong leadership of the service teams in the region, ensuring safety and effective financial management. This role requires strong commercial acumen, leadership skills, and a customer-focused approach.
Responsibilities:
- Overall responsibility for QHSE in the service area, ensuring compliance with internal and external regulations.
- Drive safety and safe working practices.
- Manage financial and commercial performance, including budget planning.
- Drive and report on KPIs.
- Oversee operational performance and manage stock levels.
- Provide leadership to site teams and manage team performance.
- Recruit and develop service employees, identifying training needs.
- Create and implement staffing plans.
- Analyse operational data to monitor performance and make improvements.
- Ensure quality standards are met.
- Create business plans for new service points.
- Oversee site safety auditing and reporting.
- Manage site facilities and large operations.
- Handle customer operational topics and ensure effective communication.
- Review site reporting and ensure compliance with Working Time Regulations.
- Work closely with local Project Management.
- Engage in initiatives to improve efficiency and competitiveness.
Experience Required:
The successful candidate will have leadership experience and relevant qualifications in Mechanical or Electrical engineering. A working knowledge of commercial or financial controls is essential, along with experience managing remote field-based teams.

- Strong computer literacy, including MS Office and SAP.
- Experience in complex businesses, preferably matrix organisations.
