A fantastic opportunity for a Legal Cashier to join a reputable law firm based in Stockport. You will be joining a friendly accounts team and will be working in a positive working environment. As the Legal Cashier, you will be reporting into the Finance Manager.
Legal Cashier Responsibilities:- Processing client and office account transactions
- Perform daily, weekly and monthly reconciliations of client and office bank accounts
- Posting receipts, payments, transfers and write offs
- Monitoring and managing client account balances
- Dealing with office to nominal transactions
- Action faster payments, CHAPS payments and cheque requests from both office and client account
- Assist with month end and year end processes
- Experience as a Legal Cashier in a law firm environment
- Knowledge of Solicitors Accounts Rules
- Proclaim experience is desirable
- Organised with a strong attention to detail
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel
- Strong organisational skills and communication skills
