Business Development Manager Role

Working hours: Monday to Friday, full-time
Capacity: Permanent position
Salary: £35,000 per annum
Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities across the sector.
- Research and understand industry trends, competitor activity, and client needs.
- Generate leads through networking, referrals, and targeted outreach.
- Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals.
- Negotiate contracts and close deals in alignment with company pricing and margin targets.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients.
- Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking functions to promote the company.
- Act as a point of contact for new clients during the onboarding process.
Candidate Attributes
- Proven experience in business development, sales, or account management.
- Strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a small, growing team.
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel for client meetings and site visits.
- A proactive, self-starting attitude with a focus on results and relationship-building.
