Our client is looking for a workshop operative to assist with the smooth running of their production process. Applicants will need to be familiar with shot blasting and preparing materials for their processes.
Main Duties:
- Setting up of blasting equipment
- Masking & preparing items for blast cleaning
- Ensuring all materials are processed safely
- Preparing surfaces to approved standards in order that items can be painted
- Following strict safety regulations covering the use of potentially hazardous materials
- Carrying out visual inspections of completed blasted items
- Liaising with management regarding queries on paperwork of jobs processed
