Responsibilities of Our Depot Managers:
- Team Leadership/People Management : Supervising all depot staff, providing training and support, and fostering a positive and productive work environment. Handle all aspects of people management.
- Health and Safety Management: Ensuring practices are up-to-date and followed by all employees, customers, and visitors.
- Fleet Management: Ensuring legal compliance is monitored and maintained.
- Sales: Evaluating local market conditions and identifying current and potential sales opportunities. Upsell products and services.
- Forecasting : Reviewing and assessing forecasts, financial objectives, and business plans.
- Budget Management: Managing the set budget and allocating funds appropriately.
- Performance Management : Enhancing the performance of depot personnel through training, coaching, development, and motivation.
- Inventory Management : Maintaining accurate records of stock levels, ensuring timely restocking, and minimising discrepancies.
- Logistics Coordination : Overseeing the receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods, ensuring smooth and timely operations.
- Safety Compliance: Ensuring all safety processes are followed, conducting regular safety checks, and addressing any issues promptly.
- Oversee all Depot operations : Including distribution, customer service, human resources, sales, and administration.
