Responsibilities:

  • Lead the planning, design, procurement, construction, commissioning, and handover of assigned development parcels outside the core Theme Park, ensuring delivery in accordance with approved budgets, schedules, quality standards, safety requirements, and the ERC masterplan.
  • Manage relationships with third-party developers and key stakeholders to ensure alignment with Universal's project objectives and development requirements.
  • Oversee construction logistics across development parcels and supporting infrastructure works, including roads, rail, and utilities. Work closely with logistics providers, contractors, and project teams to ensure safe, efficient, and coordinated site operations that support the wider ERC programme. Oversee overall project safety, obtain final acceptance for a contractor’s submitted safety plan, and compliance with Environment Health & Safety (EHS) standards.
  • Manage project governance processes, including contract administration, change management, risk mitigation, project correspondence, RFIs, directives, design reviews, submittals, notices, payment applications, and project documentation. Ensure compliance with company policies, contractual obligations, statutory requirements, and approved project controls.
  • Develop, manage, and report on project budgets and schedules. Monitor project performance, identify risks and opportunities, implement corrective actions where required, and ensure projects remain aligned with approved financial and programme objectives.
  • Prepare and present project updates to senior leadership, including budget, schedule, risk, progress, and key performance metrics. Maintain accurate project records and reporting systems to support informed decision-making and successful project delivery. Manage project interfaces and dependencies across development parcels, infrastructure projects, and external stakeholders.
  • Understand and actively participate in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established Universal policy, procedures, training and team member involvement activities.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in the delivery of construction projects design and construction phases.
  • Experience working with third party developers.
  • Must have knowledge of construction project delivery methods, specifically construction logistics.
  • Experience working on accommodation and/or campus report projects is desirable.
  • Experience in interpretation and understanding of design and construction drawings.
  • Strong experience of implementing project management governance, i.e. scheduling, budgeting, change control, risk management and reporting.
  • Good communications skills are required.
  • Experience of “hands on” management of field operations.
  • Microsoft (MS) Excel, Word, Project, Planner, Power BI, Teams, Power Apps.
  • Bluebeam or equivalent Portable Document Format (PDF) software. PMWeb experience is a plus.
