GLOBAL TELEVISION DISTRIBUTION
NBCUniversal is a leader in providing entertainment programming to the US and international marketplaces. The Global Television Distribution division is responsible for the distribution of NBCUniversal product to all forms of linear and digital media. This includes distribution of current and library theatrical movies, direct-to-video movies, documentaries, and specials, plus all forms of television product – scripted TV series, non-scripted TV series, mini-series, animation, and TV movies.
Role Purpose
The Marketing Manager plays a key role in driving marketing initiatives across the full 360° content-licensing lifecycle. This includes managing the marketing of titles from Sky and Universal Pictures Content Group (UPCG), leading FAST channel marketing and creative services efforts, and delivering client marketing support for SkyShowtime. Reporting to the Marketing Director, the role focuses on strong cross-functional collaboration with NBCUniversal’s internal teams, studio stakeholders, and global client partners to develop strategic sales solutions and enable successful international client campaigns. The Marketing Manager will also provide broader support to the Marketing and Creative Services team as needed.
Responsibilities:
- Sky & UPCG Title Brand Management: Serve as a brand steward for Sky Studios and Universal Pictures Content Group (UPCG), championing a diverse slate of titles including dramas, comedies, documentaries, docuseries, and feature films. Collaborate closely with NBCUniversal, Sky, and UPCG stakeholders to develop deep title expertise and contribute to international sales strategies and solutions. Brief, develop, and produce high-quality sales collateral, including pitch decks, sell sheets, one-sheets, and promos. Fulfil client requests for marketing information, promotional materials, and creative approvals, ensuring consistent and timely delivery. Manage the acquisition of promotional AV/static assets and oversee NBCUniversal’s asset-management vendor (ICP) to ensure all materials meet required specifications, adhere to embargo guidelines, and are accurately uploaded to NBCU’s digital asset platform, Passport. Ensure all titles are accessible for sales teams and clients on NBCUniversal Global TV Distribution’s screening platform and iOS app, NBCUView.
- FAST Channel Marketing & Creative Services: Ideate new channel creative such as logos, artwork, and AV. Work with agencies to resize and QC approved promotional assets to partner dimensions. Archive and deliver assets whilst maintaining organisation of the FAST Dropbox site. Create sales materials such as presentations and sell sheets. Support additional opportunities as needed.
- SkyShowtime Client Support: Communicate marketing information for NBCUniversal licenced IP including both TV and film properties. Support approvals for promotional campaigns and title localisations.
- Special Event & project Support: Provide support, as needed, including but not limited to events, promotional/premium ideas, presentations and more.
Qualifications Requirements:
- Marketing related experience at an IP/entertainment/media company, agency, or integrated marketing sales organisation.
- Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite, and Airtable.
