The HR Manager is a true business partner to NBCUniversal businesses. This role drives the local HR agenda with a people‐centric and commercial mindset, aimed at driving the business forward. All aspects of the employee life cycle are touched upon and the best employee experience is pursued. The incumbent will interpret and provide input against needs to identify, plan, and deliver critical initiatives to align with business and HR strategies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expertise across all HR functions including employee relations, talent acquisition, compensation and reward, employee engagement, and organisational design.
  • Create a positive employee relations environment, respecting confidentiality and balancing business and employee needs.
  • Advise leadership during the annual budget cycle on overhead impact (costs for HC, recruitment, promotions, market adjustments).
  • Co‐create and deliver annual people plans in alignment with business goals and global HR strategy.
  • Lead HR projects and initiatives as required.
  • Ensure compliance with the Respect in the Workplace policy.
  • Lead local talent management programmes, including talent review and performance feedback processes.
  • Partner with Inclusion, Talent, and Development teams on Film Group projects.
  • Partner with the Talent Team on sourcing, hiring, testing, and interviewing top talent.
  • Implement compensation & benefits initiatives and annual salary review processes.
  • Analyse training needs and design initiatives to close skill gaps.
Qualifications
  • Experience creating and executing HR people plans aligned with business priorities.
  • Strong ability to build trusted relationships with clients.
  • Excellent interpersonal, organisational, and critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to persuade and influence in conflict situations, providing leadership and direction.
  • Experience managing HR within a fast‐paced, dynamic environment.
  • Strong employment law knowledge and experience managing ER cases.
  • Self‐stimulation to work independently in a creative, fast‐paced setting and meet tight deadlines.
  • Demonstrated influence and development of strong relationships.
  • Strategic support in a matrixed organisation.
  • Effective communication across all levels and flexibility in style.
