Partners with assigned client groups to maximize the alignment of human resource capital with the business objectives. Provides guidance in employee relations issues, leadership/staff development and performance management.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provides guidance and direction to senior management team of assigned areas on all matters related to employee relations, to ensure fair and consistent enforcement of policies and practices.
- Ensures legal compliance and understanding of policies and processes.
- Investigates employee workplace situations including claims of harassment and employee performance.
- Acts as liaison between management and core HR by supporting programs or communicating information relating to Payroll, Records, Benefits, Talent Development, Compensation, Organizational Development, Talent Acquisition, and Team Member.
- Supports the TSAT efforts by assisting management with communication and action planning.
- Works with management to identify and manage the employee impact of company decisions.
- Provides advice and consultation regarding workforce planning for future projects and departmental needs.
- Mentors and provides guidance to team members related to their career goals.
- Motivates staff to accomplish company goals.
- Builds bench strength within the operational division by identifying recruiting, training and development needs.
- Understand and actively participate in Environmental, Health and Safety initiatives.
