The Senior Marketing Manager is responsible for the consumer marketing activities for NBCUniversal's filmed entertainment product through consumer facing marketing and supporting B2B efforts with local clients within the market. The Senior Marketing Manager will collaborate in the development and execution of marketing activities in collaboration with Universal Picture's International team based out of London, as well as the Head Office Team in LA, to support Local market needs and whilst also ensuring a connection to a Global network of marketeers and senior leadership.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage local clients across a portfolio of territories: presenting upcoming titles, collaborating on in-market support, creating opportunities for Universal title promotion, and approve marketing materials developed by licensees.
  • Formulate and deploy strategic consumer marketing plans in collaboration with central London team and local digital accounts to drive awareness and sales of NBCU Content.
  • Contribute to the strategy for each release including input into international marketing briefs.
  • Support budget‑spend tracking and financial pacing for a selection of titles, ensure budget documents are up to date and accurate work closely with VP.
  • Brief and oversee local media agency resource for all windows and liaise with London team on elements of media and creative.
  • Ensure agency relationships are in‑line with SOW and delivering against expectations.
  • Work in tandem with London and LA based teams on creative assets ensuring creative for above and beyond media buys are aligned with local requirements.
  • Develop and oversee creative process for all Local PEW campaigns and work with London based team on second window execution.
  • Deliver brand partnerships in collaboration with VP and agency partners across the P1 studio slate.
  • Align Consumer Marketing with Creative Services, Trade Marketing and Account Management to define strategic opportunities, priorities for titles, creative deployment and key account support.
  • Work collaboratively across business units, e.g. Theatrical, consumer products, physical licensees, and brand franchise to maximise lifecycle opportunities of managed titles.
  • Collaborate with PR and Social/Influencer lead to determine activation plans.
  • Where applicable, represent Universal at trade shows and attending regular meetings, making recommendations regarding campaigns and overall driving cross studios initiatives forwards.
  • Deliver summaries for market trends, post campaign wrap‑ups and contribute to film maker presentations.
  • Perform other marketing duties and/or special projects as needed.

Requirements and Skills

  • Language skills highly desirable i.e. (Latin American) Spanish, (Brazilian) Portuguese or French.
  • Experience with Digital and/or Physical Home Entertainment or a related entertainment industry marketing preferred.
  • Strong understanding of marketing campaign management, media trends & landscapes and digital marketing.
  • Strategic planning/business development experience.
  • Ability to interact with agencies as well as diverse groups internationally.
  • Solid communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong financial and commercial acumen, including high proficiency in MS Excel.
  • Ability to effectively handle multiple competing priorities.
  • Strong team player and highly motivated self‑starter.
