An exciting opportunity to join Universal Products & Experiences, supporting the acceleration of eCommerce growth across EMEA. This role blends operational execution, commercial delivery, strategic planning, and new business development to strengthen Universal's digital retail footprint. Reporting to the Director, eCommerce & Digital Strategy, the Manager will work closely with partners and internal teams to drive performance, scale innovation, and manage emerging eCommerce models aligned to franchise, category, and consumer priorities.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and grow key eCommerce partner relationships through KPIs, joint business plans and performance reviews.
  • Lead and develop strong relationships and drive efficient communications with licensees to ensure alignment of joint execution plans, to convey regular updates on franchise and category performance.
  • Lead recurring business reviews, planning sessions, and cross-functional alignment.
  • Support partners with best practice execution to improve visibility, traffic, and conversion.
  • Optimise and manage media investments and budget allocations using data driven insights across agency and partner teams.
  • Oversee and optimise day to day digital shelf execution (such as content, search, availability, promotional planning).
  • Drive collaboration with marketplace retailers (such as Amazon) across the broader organisation.
  • Identify product assortment and partner gaps across eCommerce channels, translating insights into growth opportunities.
  • Manage and maintain a line list of products across markets leveraging tools available.
  • Responsible for administration in relation to account management.

Partnership & Stakeholder Management

  • Build strong relationships with external partners to unlock commercial opportunities and improve collaboration.
  • Work closely with internal teams (Retail, Franchise, Category, Marketing, Finance, Legal, broader business) to ensure alignment on priorities and execution where appropriate.
  • Act as an internal eCommerce advocate, sharing best practices, insights, and capability building support.
  • Support the rollout of eCommerce frameworks, playbooks, and ways of working across markets.

Performance & Reporting

  • Define and track success metrics for eCommerce and innovation initiatives, ensuring actionable visibility for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Provide regular updates to the business on performance, risks, and opportunities.
  • Monitor trends, competitive dynamics, and digital shelf health to anticipate shifts and guide proactive action.
  • Uphold Universal brand and content standards across partners and platforms, ensuring compliance with legal and licensing requirements.
  • Contribute to continuous improvements of tools, workflows and data access to enhance decision making.

Strategic Planning & Growth

  • Support the development and execution of eCommerce strategies across franchises, categories, and consumer segments to grow UP&E market share.
  • Build business cases for new partnerships, digital capabilities, and commercial initiatives.
  • Contribute to annual planning, forecasting, and opportunity sizing to support EMEA commercial objectives.

Innovation & Emerging Models

  • Support management of new business models such as social commerce, influencer led retail, and AI driven personalisation.
  • Pilot, test, and scale innovative programs that drive incremental growth, such as marketplace expansion or new digital retail formats.
  • Track industry trends, partner innovation, and consumer behaviours to inform future initiatives.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Experience in working with Amazon either in Ads or Retail organisation with working knowledge of both areas of the business.
  • Highly competitive mindset & Business results oriented: ability to perform, to budget and manage forecast.
  • Strong analytical, problem solving and project management skills.
  • Demonstrable experience in Sales / Marketing / Retail / FMCG, ideally with solid experience in a multinational environment.
  • Ability to build relationships within a matrix business environment and handle diverse audiences.
  • Proven stakeholder management and influencing skills.
  • Natural ability to drive performance and work in a wide variety of projects with tight deadlines.
  • Good understanding of online / digital metrics.
  • Fluency in English and another European language is advantageous.
