The London Studio is seeking an Architect with strong design abilities to work on a variety of projects.

NBBJ is a design-driven practice seeking top talent; our work requires high-performance designers who possess strong communication skills and graphic abilities, as well as the ability to work within multiple platforms and understand a holistic approach to design.

Role Expectations

  • Concept and design thinking and development
  • Presentation development and preparations
  • Interior planning and organization
  • Rendering skills
  • Material and finishes selection
  • Exposure to all phases and stages of projects
  • Preparation construction documentation
  • Strong design talent with supporting technical skills

Education, Skills, & Experience

  • 2 to 5 years of professional experience, preferably in Healthcare / Higher Education but not essential
  • Registered Architect (ARB or equivalent)
  • LEED Accreditation (or equivalent) is a plus
  • Excellent conceptual design and schematic design skills
  • Strong analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills
  • Documentation, detailing and specification writing knowledge
  • Efficient, detail oriented, with high standards for quality design and documentation
  • Excellent verbal and graphic communication skills; ability to work within diverse teams of designers
  • Capability to prepare design and construction documents and coordinate specifications
  • Demonstrated ability in Revit with 3D modeling skills (eg: Rhino, Grasshopper, Dynamo)
  • Working knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator, In Design, Sketchup, 3DS Max
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook)
  • Ability to work in a collaborative, open environment
  • Willingness to participate in industry speaking or presentation engagements
