An exciting opportunity to work as a Laundry Assistant in our care home has been available. You will work as part of a friendly team, where you will be responsible for carrying out all laundry duties.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Maintain the highest standards of laundry within the home.
- Keep our residents' clothing looking and feeling great by washing, drying, ironing and repairing items as needed.
- Maintain linen stocks for day-to-day use.
- Take pride in ensuring your work is always completed to the highest standard.
About You:
The ideal person for this role would have previous cleaning and/or laundry services experience, but this is not essential as full training will be provided. As a Laundry Assistant, it is essential to have good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team and individually. The role would suit someone who can prioritise tasks, has a flexible approach, and is energetic and hard-working. Good time management and organisational skills are also important.
