We require a Domestic Assistant at our care home. The main responsibility of this role is to clean assigned areas within the care home effectively, safely and to a high standard. You will be responsible for maintaining a hygienic and safe environment for our residents, visitors and staff.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- To clean assigned areas of the home using correct equipment and materials
- To replenish supplies of disposable items i.e. soap, paper towels etc.
- General tidying, cleaning and washing
- To empty bins and arrange furniture and equipment in an orderly manner
All posts offered are subject to two satisfactory references and an enhanced DBS or PVG disclosure.
About You
The ideal person for this role would have previous cleaning experience but this is not essential and full training will be provided. As a Domestic Assistant, it is essential you have good communication skills and can work well within a team and individually. The role would suit someone who has the ability to prioritise tasks, has a flexible approach and is energetic and hard working. It is also important that you have good time management and organisational skills.
