An opportunity for a Dining Room Assistant role at our care home has become available. The main responsibility of the role is to prepare and clean the Dining Rooms to a high standard for our residents.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- To set and clear tables and trays as and when required
- Clear away dishes and waste after meals
- Wash dishes as required
- Provide assistance to residents during meal times
All posts offered are subject to two satisfactory references and an enhanced DBS or PVG disclosure.
About You:
As a Dining Room Assistant, you will be able to enhance the dining experience of our residents by encouraging social interaction between residents and providing great customer service. Experience in catering services would be desirable but this is not essential. It is essential you have good communication skills and can work well within a team and individually. The role would suit someone who has the ability to prioritise tasks, has a flexible approach and is energetic and hard working. It is also important that you have good time management and organisational skills. A Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate is desirable, or you will be willing to undertake the relevant training to gain this qualification.
