We require a Domestic Assistant at our care home. The main responsibility of this role is to clean assigned areas within the care home effectively, safely and to a high standard. You will be responsible for maintaining a hygienic and safe environment for our residents, visitors and staff.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • To clean assigned areas of the home using correct equipment and materials
  • To replenish supplies of disposable items i.e. soap, paper towels etc.
  • General tidying, cleaning and washing
  • To empty bins and arrange furniture and equipment in an orderly manner

All posts offered are subject to two satisfactory references and an enhanced DBS or PVG disclosure.

About You:

The ideal person for this role would have previous cleaning experience but this is not essential and full training will be provided. As a Domestic Assistant, it is essential you have good communication skills and can work well within a team and individually. The role would suit someone who has the ability to prioritise tasks, has a flexible approach and is energetic and hard working. It is also important that you have good time management and organisational skills.
