An exciting opportunity to work as a Laundry Assistant in our care home has been available. You will work as part of a friendly team, where you will be responsible for carrying out all laundry duties.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Maintain the highest standards of laundry within the home.
- Keep our residents' clothing looking and feeling great by washing, drying, ironing and repairing items as needed.
- Maintain linen stocks for day-to-day use.
- Take pride in ensuring your work is always completed to the highest standard.
All posts offered are subject to two satisfactory references and an enhanced DBS or PVG disclosure. England Only - You will need to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19.
About You:
The ideal person for this role would have previous cleaning and/or laundry services experience, but this is not essential as full training will be provided. As a Laundry Assistant, it is essential you have good communication skills and can work well within a team and individually. The role would suit someone who has the ability to prioritise tasks, has a flexible approach, and is energetic and hard-working. It is also important that you have good time management and organisational skills.
