We have an opportunity for a Registered Nurse (RGN / RMN) position at our nursing home. The purpose of this role is to work within the nursing team and lead a group of care staff to ensure a high standard of care to service users.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Carry out assessments, develop, implement and evaluate individual care plans for residents.
- Create a safe and supportive environment for residents ensuring that their physical, emotional and social needs are met.
- Promote our residents' independence, choice, dignity and respect by delivering the very best standards of care.
- Lead, motivate and mentor your team by delivering clear guidance and training to ensure safe, smooth and efficient running of the home.
- Develop and maintain positive working relationships with all residents, families, visitors and colleagues.
About You
You will be a Registered Nurse (RGN / RMN) with a current valid NMC pin. The ideal person will have knowledge of National Standards and NMC Code of Practice with experience in person-centred care planning within a care home. You will ensure that clear and accurate records and communication systems relating to clinical and care delivery are maintained and effectively used. As a Registered Nurse, you will act as a role model for good clinical and care governance practice. We are looking for someone who can work as part of a team and can effectively supervise, lead, and develop the care team. The role will suit someone who is caring, friendly, empathetic and has a good understanding of the needs of our residents. It is essential you have strong attention to detail and have good communication and time management skills.
