Role Purpose

We are looking for a Senior Digital Analyst to support data‑driven decision‑making across our digital business here at the JD Group. This role will focus on delivering actionable insights, improving trading decisions, marketing performance, and supporting optimisation of the end‑to‑end customer journey. You will work closely with marketing, trading, and product teams to analyse performance, identify opportunities, and enable continuous improvement through robust measurement and experimentation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analytics & Insight
    • Deliver regular and ad hoc analysis on digital trading and marketing performance
    • Identify trends, risks, and opportunities across acquisition channels and onsite behaviour
    • Analyse customer journeys, funnels, and conversion performance to support growth initiatives
    • Translate data into clear recommendations for non‑technical stakeholders
  • Performance Marketing Support
    • Analyse performance across channels (Paid Search, Paid Social, Display, Affiliates, SEO)
    • Support optimisation of key metrics such as CAC, ROAS, and conversion rate
    • Assist in evaluating marketing effectiveness, including attribution and incrementality approaches
  • Testing & Optimisation
    • Support a testing roadmap and execution across digital platforms
    • Analyse test results and provide clear recommendations on scaling or iteration
    • Promote a test‑and‑learn mindset across marketing and trading teams
  • Data & Tools
    • Ensure tracking accuracy and data quality in collaboration with engineering teams
    • Use analytics platforms (GA4) to monitor and diagnose performance
  • Stakeholder Collaboration
    • Partner with marketing, trading, and product teams to understand business needs
    • Present insights in a clear, concise, and commercially relevant way
    • Support senior analysts/managers in delivering larger strategic projects

Skills & Experience Required

  • Essential
    • Strong experience in fast paced digital analytics, ideally within eCommerce
    • Hands‑on experience with web analytics tools (e.g. GA4)
    • Experience analysing paid media performance and digital channels
    • Solid SQL skills (or equivalent data querying capability)
    • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with attention to detail
    • Ability to translate data into actionable insights
    • Good stakeholder communication skills
  • Desirable
    • Knowledge of attribution models and incrementality testing
    • Experience working with large datasets or cloud platforms (e.g. BigQuery, Snowflake)
