About the Role
We are looking for an experienced and commercially minded Digital Partnerships Manager to lead and develop key strategic partnerships across Digital Partnerships including Buy Now Pay Later (BNPL), payments, loyalty and marketing partnerships.
This is a varied role that combines partnership management, marketing, analytics and commercial performance.
The successful candidate will manage relationships with key partners including Klarna, Clearpay and other payment providers, driving performance, optimisation, customer engagement and commercial growth.
The role will also support the ongoing development of our loyalty programme through rewards and partnership opportunities, while delivering high-profile marketing activations with major brands such as Mastercard around key cultural and sporting events.
This position is ideal for someone who combines strong analytical capabilities with a creative marketing mindset.
Key Responsibilities
- Buy Now Pay Later (BNPL) & Payments Partnerships
- Own and manage relationships with key BNPL and payment partners including Klarna, Clearpay and other strategic providers.
- Develop and implement joint business plans to drive commercial growth and customer acquisition.
- Monitor and optimise partner performance against agreed KPIs and objectives.
- Identify and deliver new partnership opportunities, launches and strategic initiatives.
- Ensure all partner marketing activity is aligned with broader business objectives.
- Conduct regular market reviews and competitor analysis to identify emerging trends, opportunities and risks within the BNPL landscape.
- Ensure all BNPL and payment partner activity complies with internal policies, regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Marketing & Campaign Management
- Develop and deliver co-funded and partner-led marketing campaigns across multiple channels.
- Manage the creation, optimisation and deployment of marketing assets for partner campaigns.
- Work closely with internal creative, trading and marketing teams to ensure campaigns are delivered effectively.
- Manage marketing partnerships with strategic partners including Mastercard and other key brands.
- Measure campaign effectiveness and provide actionable recommendations for future activity.
- Performance, Reporting & Analytics
- Produce regular performance reporting and insights for internal and external stakeholders.
- Analyse customer, campaign, partnership and commercial performance data to identify opportunities for optimisation.
- Deliver clear recommendations and strategic insights to senior stakeholders.
- Develop KPI dashboards and reporting frameworks to measure partnership success.
- Use data and market intelligence to support strategic decision-making.
- Loyalty Programme Support
- Support the growth and development of the company's loyalty programme through new partnership opportunities.
- Identify and secure reward and benefit opportunities that enhance member engagement and value.
- Collaborate with loyalty, CRM and marketing teams to deliver partnership-led member experiences.
- Stakeholder Management
- Build strong relationships across marketing, trading, finance, legal, CRM, loyalty and digital teams.
Skills & Experience
- Minimum 5 years' experience in marketing, digital marketing, performance marketing, partnerships or a related commercial role.
- Strong commercial awareness and ability to identify growth opportunities.
- Experience analysing performance data and translating insights into action.
- Excellent reporting, presentation and communication skills.
- Strong project management and organisational capabilities.
- Experience managing marketing campaigns and partner-funded activities.
- Ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels.
