Role Overview: A fantastic position has arisen in the Visual Department. The vacant field role is a Visual Support Manager within the North East. The role involves managing day to day visual activity and an integral part of the role is to actively develop a team of competent Town merchandisers and in store personnel across all designated stores.
Responsible to: Head of VM and Central Operations
Department: Retail Operations
A Full UK Driving licence is required for this role.
Key Duties/Responsibilities:
- Ensure a high level of visual standard, and to make sure a consistent level of visual competence is evident across all designated stores.
- To have strong communication to all Visual Head Office personnel, Senior Visual Managers, Area / Regional Sales Managers, and Town Merchandisers, to ensure all guidelines are being followed correctly and all weaknesses are identified and supported to be rectified.
- To support training and development of the VM and Retail teams with regards to technical and commercial VM.
- Use data, reporting tools and business intelligence to provide commercially sound decision making.
Skills/Experience/Knowledge:
- Visual Merchandising Experience.
- Retail Management Skills would be advantageous.
- Excellent Leadership Skills.
- Strong commercial awareness.
