You will work closely with the production team, follow instructions, use machinery for the production of Naylor Concrete products. This role will include manual work.
DETAILED ACCOUNTABILITIES
- To operate machinery effectively and efficiently within the production function of the business
- To learn and efficiently set up both prestressed and precast moulds
- To learn safe operation of Prensoland industrial machinery for concrete products
- To learn and operate overhead cranes and Hydraulic grabs
- To learn the principles of Pre Stressing
- Safety use the angle grinders
- Lay concrete and finish off with a float/trowel
- Repair concrete to give an excellent finish when required
- Use of angle grinders, drills and other power tools
- To work efficiently within a team to achieve targets
PERSON SPECIFICATION
- Strong attention to detail
- Good communication to ensure smooth coordination within the production process
- Good time management skills
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Adaptability
- FLT license and welding qualification would be a benefit but not essential
